Celebrate America 250!
As part of the nation wide America 250! celebration, the Lew Wallace Chapter has curated a display at several libraries. Additionally there will be a community event at the Albuquerque Main Library on June 6 starting at 10:30AM. This event will feature a panel discussion on New Mexico's role in the American Revolution and a screening of NUESTRA HISTORIA: HISPANIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. Panelists include historian Dr. Tom Chavez, National Hispanic Cultural Center Director Zack Quintero and past DAR State Regent Eleanor Ortiz. A light reception will follow the discussion.
